Your photos.
Your choice.
What happens when you make a strip, share a room, or visit Fotoy.
Made in your browser.
Camera photos and pictures you choose for the solo studio are composed into a strip on your device. Fotoy does not upload those photos to its server. Camera permission is requested when you start taking photos; you can change that permission in your browser.
The optional Soft skin and Dress up effects run in your browser. Their model or artwork files download to your device; your photos are not sent to an image-processing API for those effects.
Two photos, only when you send them.
In Make one together, each person previews and crops two photos before choosing to upload them. Fotoy stores the shared JPEG photos temporarily so the invited person can add their two and both can make a strip. You can remove your own two photos from the room and add new ones while it is open. A room is scheduled to expire 24 hours after creation; expired room data is also cleared if someone tries to open it later.
Anyone holding a room link can access that room, so send it only to someone you trust. Removing photos cannot recall a copy someone already saved. Fotoy has no public room gallery. Your browser may keep the host's room link locally so you can return to it before it expires.
We measure the tool, not your pictures.
Fotoy uses Google Analytics on its main public pages and the solo studio to understand page visits and actions such as starting a strip, choosing a style, and using an export action. These events do not include photo pixels, filenames, or private room links. The private shared-room page does not load the Analytics tag.
Analytics can receive ordinary browser and page information as part of a visit. Opening a share sheet or download does not tell Fotoy whether you saved the image to your phone's Photos app.
Last checked against the live Fotoy implementation: October 2026.
